Job Opening: Tree Crew Groundsperson:

The Tree Crew Groundsperson (w/ CDL) works with tree crews assisting with work performed, worksite safety and worksite prep.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading/unloading of site debris
• Gas powered saws
• Pole saws/clips
• Chippers
• Blowers
• Reports to work on time each day
• Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers
• Maintain professionalism
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service
• Maintain and service equipment, as needed
• Follows safety culture and safety procedures
• Assist with set up of traffic safety control measures for job sites.
• Assist crew with daily equipment and vehicle prep.
• Maintain safety of drop zones on job sites.
• Perform pruning and reducing work on trees
• Safely use tree care operations equipment (including, but not limited to gas-powered saws, pole saws/clips, chippers, blowers)

*** Must CURRENTLY possess a valid CDL license -- this is REQUIRED to apply***

Other Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two year experience in tree service
• Valid driver's license
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to work 40 hours or more each week.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively
• First Aid and CPR Certified is preferred
